The flange assembler is responsible for the safe and correct installation of flowmeters in our test lines. For this purpose, the test lines often have to be partly but sometimes also completely rebuilt. A test line consists of pipe sections that vary in diameter, length and flange types. The test lines are located in our production halls.
The main tasks of the flange fitter consist of assembling and dismantling flange connections of piping, valves and other fittings in accordance with the specified requirements (installation drawings, correct gaskets, stud bolts and tightening torques, etc.).
You transport the pipe sections from the storage locations to the test hall using a forklift truck and fit them into the test line using an overhead crane. The flange connections are assembled using special torque tools.
As a flange fitter, you can also be deployed for maintenance work.
